After 35 years as a civil trial lawyer in all kinds and sizes of cases, Bill Robitzek has formed a practice devoted to serving the needs of other attorneys. He offers alternative dispute resolution services as well as confidential consultations on pending cases. He is the former President of the Maine State Bar Association and the New England Bar Association. He has lectured widely to lawyers and law students on issues relating to trials, evidence, preparation of witnesses, depositions and client relations.

I have been practicing law since 2005. I represent people charged with crimes in Maine state courts in a number of coastal counties. My practice regularly brings me to Androscoggin, Cumberland, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, York, and Waldo counties. My clients typically have cases in Superior Court and District Court. The people I help range from juveniles to adults. Everyone deserves a vigorous defense, every case is important, and everyone deserves to be treated with respect. I have been practicing immigration law in the mid-coast region of Maine since 2013, after almost 20 years working in natural resources conservation law and policy. My interest in immigration is both professional and personal. I was a landed immigrant (permanent resident) of Canada for several years and, after returning to the U.S. adopted both of my children internationally.
