Ms. Cape obtained her J.D. degree from George Washington University Law School and her B.S. degree in Marketing, with a minor in Psychology, from Georgetown University . Ms. Cape began her journey in the field of immigration law while still in law school, during which time she took several courses in the area of immigration and asylum law. I grew up in the small town of Hallettsville, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio. Prior to law school I worked as a petroleum landman where I researched title to land for oil and gas companies. I continued to work as a landman during and after law school. My extensive knowledge in tracing mineral title and conducting genealogy research helped me make a natural transition into probate law and estate planning.
