I decided years ago that I wanted to represent individuals against the powerful. Over the last 38 years, I have represented the victims of railroads, doctors and hospitals, negligent drivers and irresponsible corporations. I have tried and litigated all kinds of cases in Federal and state courts in Oregon, Montana, Colorado, Utah and Idaho.

I consult with noncitizens, their families and counsel to determine the best course of action to avoid the serious consequences a criminal history may have on immigration status. My office can either represent noncitizens directly in immigration court and on appeal, or work with already retained immigration counsel. I also assist criminal counsel to identify safe haven dispositions for those facing criminal charges or seeking post-conviction relief.
