I have been practicing law since 2005. I represent people charged with crimes in Maine state courts in a number of coastal counties. My practice regularly brings me to Androscoggin, Cumberland, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, York, and Waldo counties. My clients typically have cases in Superior Court and District Court. I have been practicing immigration law in the mid-coast region of Maine since 2013, after almost 20 years working in natural resources conservation law and policy. My interest in immigration is both professional and personal. I was a landed immigrant (permanent resident) of Canada for several years and, after returning to the U.S. adopted both of my children internationally. My primary focus in my practice is assisting taxpayers with tax debt resolution. I help my clients by eliminating tax debt when I can, or, arranging affordable tax debt repayment of actual tax liability. I find it extremely rewarding when I watch the relief overcome people during an initial consultation when they learn about their options and strategies available to manage tax debt.
