I graduated Cum Laude from Washburn Law School in 2003. During law school, I participated in Law Journal, Moot Court, and Law Clinic. I set for and passed the Kansas bar in the summer of 2003 and then I took and passed the Missouri bar in 2004. Directly after law school, I had the honor of working directly with the late Judge Elliott of the Kansas Court of Appeals as a research attorney. I then worked briefly with a local attorney in Lawrence, prior to starting my own practice in November of 2005.

I am a Christian, husband, and father of five who has work experience in the sciences, manufacturing, and the mission field. I am a hard worker, a diligent researcher, and an effective representative. I am committed to providing excellent legal services to all those who will trust me to be their attorney. I started Coughlin Law Office with the goal of providing legal services to businesses and individuals throughout northeast Kansas and beyond.

Kylee Tokoi is a family law attorney based in Lawrence, Kansas. She devotes the bulk of her practice to representing clients in matters of divorce, paternity, child custody and support, spousal maintenance, guardianship, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Kylee also leverages her experience prosecuting Child in Need of Care (CINC) and juvenile offender cases to represent parents, grandparents, and interested parties in CINC matters and defend juveniles charged with crimes in state court.

I began my criminal law career at the Miami County Attorney’s Office under Elizabeth Sweeney-Reeder. During my time as a prosecutor I worked in Juvenile, Domestic Violence, Misdemeanor Traffic, Misdemeanor Crimes, Field and Game, DUI, and Felony Failure to Register cases. This broad spectrum allowed me to gain great knowledge of criminal law. After leaving the County Attorney's Office in December of 2017, I then went to work for Cameron & Herrman, P.A, a very well-known firm in Wichita, Kansas. I work zealously to defend the rights of my clients in Criminal, Traffic, DUI, and Family Law.

Keith Edwards is a Wichita-based criminal defense attorney who represents individuals charged with crimes in municipal, state, and federal courts throughout Kansas.
