After finishing law school, I started a company focused on teaching new fathers (by birth or adoption) skills and abilities they may not have had a chance to learn. Eventually I closed that business in order to work in the area of foreclosure prevention law due to the increasingly common foreclosure (which in Virginia can happen very quickly). I have chosen to continue to help people in need at my own law firm so I can give my clients the attention they deserve.

Vicki obtained a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. She then obtained a Juris Doctor degree from Oklahoma City School of Law, where she was awarded Order of the Barristers in recognition of excellence of courtroom advocacy. She also served as a law clerk for the Honorable James F. As a former public defender and former prosecutor, I have focused on criminal law for the majority of my career. My background also brings a unique perspective to the table. I also have a good rapport with teenagers and young people after working as a juvenile prosecutor for more than two years.

Ryan began his legal career at the Richmond School of Law, volunteering with the Richmond Law Innocence Project and the Legal Aid Society of Central Virginia. After passing the Virginia Bar, Ryan worked at the Hampton Public Defender's Office for three and a half years.
