I have practiced law in Kansas since 1995, and my primary area of focus is family law with emphasis on contested child custody proceedings. I have appeared in more than 50 different Kansas counties, and tried hundreds of cases to the Court. I have argued more than 30 appeals, and tried more than 20 jury trials.

I completed trial advocacy and appellate advocacy training with the United States Department of Justice, and the mediation training for the State of Kansas. I have helped more than 500 clients with divorces, custody matters, paternity matters and adoptions.

Christopher brings to the table legal experience in a number of areas, including nonprofit creation/governance, immigration, and general civil matters.

He received his Juris Doctor from the Washburn School of Law, and his Bachelor's in English from the University of North Dakota. Prior to law school, he taught high school English, and briefly served in state government.

Chris is a native of northeastern North Dakota, but proudly claims Kansas and its mild winters as his home. Whether or not he is in the office, Chris harbors the desire to write the great American novel.

Attorney Philip Depew is an associate with Depew Law Firm in Neodesha, Kansas and a Neodesha native. I began my criminal law career at the Miami County Attorney’s Office under Elizabeth Sweeney-Reeder. During my time as a prosecutor I worked in Juvenile, Domestic Violence, Misdemeanor Traffic, Misdemeanor Crimes, Field and Game, DUI, and Felony Failure to Register cases. This broad spectrum allowed me to gain great knowledge of criminal law. After leaving the County Attorney's Office in December of 2017, I then went to work for Cameron & Herrman, P.A, a very well-known firm in Wichita, Kansas.
