I spent a year as an Assistant Attorney General in the Workers' Compensation Section. I have been in private practice since 1972. I started law school while a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories. An engineering education and background did not help with law school, but I find that many engineering principles, diligent analysis, and problem-solving thinking help with actual law practice.
