Timothy W. Jones
(865) 365-1145I began my licensed practice of law in 1989 with a real estate law firm in Sevierville, TN, Ben Brabson, Charles Kite and Richard Vance. I learned how to resolve many of the issues that sometimes plague real estate owners such as encroachments, boundary line issues, easements and licenses to name a few. My training and experience has taught me how to prepare and try these complicated cases. My practice has expanded through the years to include contract drafting and litigation, which is a natural accompaniment to my real estate practice. As with most firms, your clients for one type of legal work eventually ask you to perform other services such as forming corporations or other legal entities; drafting commercial leases for the office building they just purchased; or even represent them or a family member in a divorce action. The experience expands as the years go by. However, if I do not believe I have the knowledge or experience to represent my client in a particular matter, I will tell him or her and refer them to another attorney who does have the expertise they need to give them the best representation available.
