In 1995, prior to moving to Texas, he was certified as a County Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court and worked as a community mediator. Upon moving to Texas, he continued to mediate community disputes through the Dispute Resolution Center of Harris County. In law school, he earned highest grades in all the ADR related courses offered. He spent the Summer of 2001 traveling throughout India to study the Lok Adalat system of community dispute resolution. He was even granted a rare audience with the Dalai Lama where he interviewed the Tibetan monk and got his views on the topic of peaceful resolution of conflict. Palmer combines smart and tough with compassionate and creative techniques to end conflict.
