Mr.Palmer handles Divorce, Child Custody, Paternity, Estate Planning, other civil matters in Harris, Galveston, Brazoria and Chambers counties. He also mediates divorces and other civil matters. Mr. Palmer is a 2001 graduate of South Texas College of Law in Houston where he was an Assistant Editor on the Corporate Council Review law journal and an editor for the international law journal, Currents. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the law school newspaper, Annotations. Mr. Palmer also interned with the Texas First Court of Appeals. Attorney Palmer has focused his practice on resolving legal issues that affect hardworking, middle class families in transition. Whether this includes establishing paternity, receiving child support, or getting a divorce, Mr. Palmer delivers aggressive representation in protecting the rights of individuals and children. As a mediator for over 17 years, Sean Palmer knows that in many legal disputes, the best solutions are the ones that the parties agree to without resorting to a court ruling. Mr. Palmer has a wealth of education and experience in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution. In 1995, prior to moving to Texas, he was certified as a County Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court and worked as a community mediator. Upon moving to Texas, he continued to mediate community disputes through the Dispute Resolution Center of Harris County. In law school, he earned highest grades in all the ADR related courses offered. He spent the Summer of 2001 traveling throughout India to study the Lok Adalat system of community dispute resolution. He was even granted a rare audience with the Dalai Lama where he interviewed the Tibetan monk and got his views on the topic of peaceful resolution of conflict. Palmer combines smart and tough with compassionate and creative techniques to end conflict.
