Melanie Suzanne O'Brien

Melanie O’Brien is an associate at Tobener Ravenscoft. In 2008, she earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology, with a minor in Spanish, from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. Ms. O’Brien attended Golden Gate University School of Law, where she was a participant in the competitive Honors Lawyering Program and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Criminal Procedure.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. O’Brien focused her practice on residential landlord-tenant disputes and honed her litigation skills at a boutique law firm in Oakland, California. Ms. O’Brien has five years of litigation experience relating to housing rights, habitability, and wrongful eviction cases.
