Lee Gutschenritter is a trial lawyer dedicated to the representation of individuals who have suffered serious injuries and death due to the negligence of others. Lee has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of his clients; in the past two years alone, he has recovered in excess of $15 million. For the past four years, Lee has been selected as an Atlanta Magazine Super Lawyers' "Rising Star," an award reserved for the top 2.5% of attorneys in Georgia. He has also been named in America's Top 100 Personal Injury Attorneys.
Lee primarily handles cases in the areas of medical malpractice, tractor-trailer accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death cases. He has represented clients in cases throughout Georgia and has successfully litigated over one hundred cases in both state and federal courts. Lee limits his practice to handling a small number of cases at a time. This approach allows him to develop meaningful relationships with his clients and to invest substantial time and resources into every one of his cases.
Prior to joining Finch McCranie LLP, Lee spent several years working for one of Georgia's largest defense firms. Insurance companies hired him to defend individuals and companies in cases involving tractor-trailer accidents, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, and premises liability cases. Throughout this time period, he gained insight into the operations and strategies of insurance companies, as well as first-hand experience in the strategies used by defense attorneys. Today, Lee uses his knowledge of insurance companies and defense techniques to help ensure his clients receive the best representation possible.
