Kirk Seaman, LLC
Kirk Seaman was born in 1959 and raised in Baltimore City. He worked in his family’s business before attending law school. After studying at Baltimore City Public Schools and the Community College of Baltimore, he earned an Associate of Arts degree in Political Science with honors. He then transferred to the University of Baltimore, completing his Jurisprudence degree with honors, and went on to graduate from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1985.
Before law school, Mr. Seaman studied classical guitar at the Peabody Preparatory of Music and taught himself drums. His interest in photography led to a freelance commercial business covering weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and construction photography. He also worked with advertising agencies and served as the personal photographer to Roy Rogers, capturing performances by artists such as Lou Rawls, Heart, Rick Springfield, and Hall & Oates.
In 1985, he met and later married his wife, Rose. They have two adult children, three grandchildren, and two grand-dogs, and reside in Sparrows Point, Maryland.
Mr. Seaman opened his own law practice in 1989, handling accident, workers’ compensation, criminal, DUI, and family law cases. In 1995, he was appointed by the Circuit Court for Carroll County as a Special Settlement Officer. By 1999, he had added mediation and arbitration to his practice. He has appeared before District Courts, Circuit Courts, the Court of Special Appeals (now Appellate Court of Maryland), the Workers’ Compensation Commission, and the Office of Administrative Hearings.
In May 2022, Mr. Seaman sold his law practice and took over the workers’ compensation department at Kirk Seaman, LLC, a long-established Baltimore law firm. There, he expanded the firm’s services to include DUI and DWI representation.
