David received his undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law. He joined Marks & Harrison in 2021. He was a solo practitioner prior to joining our Charlottesville, Staunton, and Harrisonburg offices, and prior to that he was a long-term partner at a Virginia statewide personal injury firm.

Louis Nagy co-founded our firm after honorably serving the community for seven years as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney. During his time as a prosecutor, Louis handled all types of criminal cases, including both state and federal cases. His unique experience is invaluable when anticipating the likely strategies the government will use in each case and developing ways to counter these tactics. Jason is licensed to practice in West Virginia and Virginia. He resides in Pearisburg, Virginia with his wife, Catherine, and they have four children, Sydney, William, James, and John Thomas. Jason is a member of the Pearisburg First United Methodist Church and serves on the Pearisburg Town Council.

Mr. Carwile began the practice of law as the first Executive Director of the Lynchburg Legal Aid Society. William R. Kilgore, Esq. is a graduate of George Wythe High School, The University of Tennessee - Knoxville, and Syracuse University College of Law. He passed the bar exam and became a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Virginia in October 2018. After the bar, William returned home to Wytheville, VA, where he began working as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney (prosecutor) for Wythe County. In 2022, William left the Commonwealth Attorney's Office to open his own practice and better serve the citizens of Wythe County and surrounding areas.
