Dallas graduated from Albany Law School in Albany, New York in 2008. Before joining Ivie & Young, he clerked for Judge David N. Mortensen in the Fourth District Court in Utah. Dallas represents the fourth generation of the Young family to practice at Ivie & Young.

Mr. Laird practices in several areas of law including civil litigation, contract drafting, business law, bankruptcy and probate (i.e., wills and trusts).
