Anthony Oryang
I am an intellectual property attorney at Clayton & Howarth, P.C., where I apply a practical approach to my practice, influenced heavily by my engineering background. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and have worked as a project lead in systems design, which provides me with a solid understanding of complex technologies.
My practice covers a wide range of activities, including drafting patent applications across various fields such as software, computer, and mechanical technologies. I am adept at managing the patent prosecution process, having drafted numerous Office Action responses, engaged in examiner interviews, and conducted patentability searches. Additionally, my professional activities extend to trademark prosecution and support in litigation preparation.
I earned my Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark Law School, where I was actively involved in the Student Intellectual Property Law Association. I am a member of the Utah State Bar. Outside of my professional life, I am a committed family man, enjoying time with my wife and our five children. My interests include sports, automotive repair, and conducting science experiments with my children, which allows me to share my passion for science with them.
