I was born in Dallas and spent most of my life there. I moved to Denver halfway through first grade but returned to Plano during my junior year of high school. I graduated from Plano Senior High in 1984, then pursued my studies at Richland College and the University of North Texas, where I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration.
