I am an attorney licensed in the State of Tennessee and have worked with clients in civil, criminal, divorce, estate, real estate, and personal injury matters. I am also currently employed with The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, acting as the Associate Director for the Office of Clinical Research by negotiating and drafting agreements related to clinical research. My work as an attorney is wholly separate from that work done for The University of Tennessee, and use of The University of Tennessee's name is not an endorsement, implied or otherwise.

Before establishing his career as a lawyer, Mr. Cardwell served his country and is a 20-year retired veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Following his retirement from the Marines, Mr. Cardwell graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2006, and practiced law in Alaska before relocating to the great state of Tennessee.
