Ronald L. Wallace graduated with his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma in 1978. He then went on to complete his Juris Doctorate at Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he graduated in 1981. He was sworn into the Oklahoma Bar Association in October, 1981, and began a partnership with O.A. Cargill, Jr., Cargill and Wallace, where he began his extensive trial practice.
