Mr. Shaffer is a native of Steubenville,Ohio. He is married to Arlene B. Angel-Shaffer, Esq. who is currently retired. His daughter, Sarah and her husband are both Registered Nurses. His younger son, Joseph is currently serving in the United States Air Force.
