Kelly King was born and raised in Northern Virginia.  After graduating from the College of William and Mary, she then attended University of Virginia School of Law.  Upon obtaining her law degree, Ms. King first worked as a prosecutor in Central Virginia.  She quickly realized her true passion was in defending clients in need.  Ms. King worked for almost seven years at the Public Defender's Office in Loudoun County, where she handled every type of case from minor traffic offenses to First Degree Murder.

Mr. Jones has lived in Fairfax most of life, graduating from Lake Braddock in 1987. He resides in the area with his wife and two children. Mr. Jones coaches Little League baseball and youth basketball. He is an avid UVA basketball fan.

I began practicing law in 1980 with a firm where I tried my first felony jury after being in practice approximately 4 months. Marissa Boyce is a Virginia native and Richmond transplant. She is a 2013 graduate of the Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law, and worked as a magistrate in the central Virginia area before coming to the Richmond Public Defender’s Office. The majority of her practice is in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations courthouse, where she litigates cases involving juvenile defendants, juvenile victims, and family or household members. She spends her free time playing with her dogs and making off-color and nihilistic needlepoint pieces.
