Spencer was born and raised in Florida, but has been a proud Indiana resident since coming to Bloomington to attend law school in 2003. Spencer represented indigent clients in the Community Legal Clinic while attending law school. After graduating from Indiana University School of Law in 2006, Spencer moved to Indianapolis and began his litigation career focusing on defending personal injury actions. She graduated from IU Maurer School of Law (1979, cum laude), the National College of Criminal Defense and the Darrow College of Capital Defense. Attorney Justin T. Bowen received his law degree from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law, where he was named Law Student of the Year in 2004. Mr. Bowen has served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable L. Mark Bailey of the Indiana Court of Appeals, and has worked for one of the largest defense law firms in the Midwest, where he practiced toxic torts litigation and defended industrial manufacturers. Kristina was born in Poughkeepsie, New York. Her family moved to Olathe, Kansas when she was five years old. She later moved to Indiana when she was fifteen years old. After attending Westfield High School, she earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in French and Psychology from Butler University, cum laude.

In 2009, Kristina joined Hensley Legal Group as a legal assistant in the Social Security disability department.
