Jeff’s practice is primarily family law and criminal defense. He enjoys complex family law cases, involving businesses and other complicated scenarios. He has also done work in construction defect cases. Jeff especially enjoys helping people to clean up their criminal record through vacations/expungements and restoring rights to buy firearms.
In addition to helping establish compliance procedures for highly regulated industries, he is also certified in Collaborative Law. Jeff is an avid believer in alternative dispute resolution, due to its low-conflict approach to settling a dispute outside of the courtroom, and the benefits it serves to all parties involved.

After more than 15 years of litigation in criminal, civil, and family law cases, I have been appointed to the Beaverton Municipal Court as a full-time judge. I am thankful for all my past clients and colleagues and I look forward to a full-time career in public service. As a judge, I cannot provide legal advice to anyone. Deanna Ballou Jensen has over 20 years of experience as a family law attorney. Much of her practice at this point involves complex cases in all areas of family law. Lesley V. Herring is a native of Louisiana who moved to Portland, Oregon in 2011. She completed her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in 2003 and obtained her Master’s Degree in Philosophy in 2005. Ms. Herring received her J.D. from Michigan State University in 2010. She has dedicated her legal practice to the areas of family law and estate planning. Jordan was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Roger J. DeHoog of the Oregon Court of Appeals and previously clerked for the Honorable Barbara A. Madsen of the Washington Supreme Court. As a judicial clerk at the appellate level, she had the opportunity to work on a variety of cases, including those addressing criminal, family, and juvenile law.

During law school, Jordan worked as an appellate intern at the Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office appearing in court on behalf of the State of Washington. She also worked at a Seattle-based domestic violence agency.
