Jeff’s practice is primarily family law and criminal defense. He enjoys complex family law cases, involving businesses and other complicated scenarios. Zach Walsh’s background spans the globe, from litigating criminal and family law cases in the Pacific Northwest’s smallest jurisdictions to fighting piracy in Moscow. Prior to joining McKean Smith to practice criminal and family law, Zach honed his courtroom skills as a prosecutor, and as an attorney at one of Portland’s largest family law firms.

Nathan Holtey has been practicing law for over ten years. Raised in Ashland, OR, Nathan attended Tufts University in Boston, MA, before coming back to Oregon and attending the University of Oregon School of Law. Nathan enjoys the practice of law and assisting clients with achieving excellent results. He focuses his practice on family law and criminal defense, and has handled every type of matter from 24 hour notice Restraining Order and Emergency Custody hearings to high asset divorces involving multiple businesses, spousal support, and complex property division.

Michael S. Evans has been licensed to practice law in Oregon since 1985. He has handled a wide range of family law cases, as well as many matters involving business litigation. His knowledge of family law and business law has given him a unique perspective on how to handle the financial aspects of family law matters. Jordan was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Roger J. DeHoog of the Oregon Court of Appeals and previously clerked for the Honorable Barbara A. Madsen of the Washington Supreme Court. As a judicial clerk at the appellate level, she had the opportunity to work on a variety of cases, including those addressing criminal, family, and juvenile law.

During law school, Jordan worked as an appellate intern at the Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office appearing in court on behalf of the State of Washington. She also worked at a Seattle-based domestic violence agency.
