I am a native of Chicago. I majored in History at Colgate University in Hamilton, NY, and went to I.U. Bloomington Law School. I have practiced immigration law since 1991 in Chicago and Milwaukee.

Ms. Salata's practice is focused in U.S. Immigration law as well as Illinois Workers' Compensation law. She works extensively in family immigration matters, removal proceedings, non-immigrant visas and naturalization and citizenship law. As a trial lawyer she has more than seven years of experience successfully litigating Workers’ Compensation cases before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and Circuit Courts.
