I have been practicing law in Montgomery County, Maryland, as well as Northern Virginia, and the Baltimore area for over 27 years.

My focus is on local businesses that need outside general counsel: both for routine business issues, and for litigation.

I am licensed in Maryland, DC, and Virginia.

I represent clients in trials and adversarial proceedings, particularly in the most challenging cases when it matters most. My experience spans across employment and labor law, business disputes, defamation, and civil rights litigation. Before founding Flood Law, I served as an active-duty Air Force Judge Advocate (JAG) officer, where I achieved the rank of Major. Nearly 20 years of trial experience at the state and federal level handling complex civil and criminal cases. I have tried hundreds of cases before judges and juries. My current focus is representing railroad workers in personal injury cases under the Federal Employers Liability Act and in whistleblower cases under the the Federal Railroad Safety Act. Admitted to practice in Maryland and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Pending admission to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
