Born and raised in Clark County, Alexa was born into a family of lawyers (her father and grandfather) who valued relationships and giving back to the local community. She studied music and social work in college, graduating from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Social Welfare.

Sara LC Hulford graduated from Western Washington University in 2008 having focused on global human rights issues. It was a natural transition to begin working at the Elder Law Offices in 2011 primarily with clients in long term care planning, vulnerable adult and guardianship matters. Under the mentorship of Barry M. Meyers and David M. Neubeck, she completed the Law Clerk Program. Upon passing the Spring 2017 bar exam, she transitioned to associate attorney and continues working with clients of all ages in elder law.

Michael "Mick" Frey was born in Longview, Washington. He began his legal career as an intern in his Father's firm, Donald W. Frey, P.S. which he then joined as an associate in 1996. He continues to share office space with his Father, and Wesley S. Johnson. Donald Michael (Mike) Gunning was born in Houston, Texas and as a young child moved to Spokane, Washington.

Michael did his undergraduate work at Eastern Washington University where he graduated with a degree in Economics. Mr. Gunning then went on to receive his Juris Doctor Degree from Gonzaga University Law School.
