I grew up in a small town in the desert of southwest Texas, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Baylor University in 1981, a Master of Arts degree in English Literature from Pittsburg State University in 1986, and a Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1985.

I hail from Marietta, a quaint rural town nestled on the Oklahoma side of the Red River. My academic journey led me to Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where I completed my undergraduate studies in 2005. Following this, I pursued a law degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, graduating in 2008. My approach to legal representation is encapsulated in my philosophy: "regardless of the situation my clients face, they can depend on me, as their advocate, to serve them well." This guiding principle shapes my commitment to diligently serve those I represent.
