I started my career in the justice system as a police officer for 16 years. I move to the District Attorney's office after graduating from law school. I was team leader in the vehicular crimes division. In 2000 began my career in private practice. I am now a partner at May & Ryan, PLC we do litigation work mainly in the criminal defense arena with an added emphasis on DUI defense.

After graduating with honors from the University of Mississippi School of Law, Misty D. Parks began her practice primarily in the areas of criminal and domestic law in 2007.
