I attended Texas Wesleyan School of Law, graduating in 2010. Since then I've practiced in criminal law for a decade, the majority of that time in Austin, handling cases in Travis County and throughout the Central Texas area. I've handled a wide variety of cases--from murder to minor drug charges.

My approach is simple listen to my client's needs and I get the best results for them possible.

Born and raised in Texas, I began practicing in Austin in 2014. In that time, I have learned the value of a client-centered approach focused on communication with all my clients. I launched ATX Legal in 2021 because I wanted to replicate the client-focused approach I had developed over five years and hundreds of clients. A large percentage of my business comes from referrals from previous clients because they know the kind of value I deliver and the level of care I take in each case. Erin Shinn has been practicing criminal defense in Texas since 2007. Originally from Lubbock, Texas, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of General Studies from Texas Tech University in 2004. She received her law degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law in 2007. She honed her trial and advocacy skills in law school as a member of the Board of Barristers.
