I am a general practitioner with an emphasis in criminal defense and personal injury who practices in northeast Ohio, including Wayne, Ashland, Medina, Holmes, and Richland counties.

Mr. Shaffer is a native of Steubenville,Ohio. He is married to Arlene B. Angel-Shaffer, Esq. who is currently retired. His daughter, Sarah and her husband are both Registered Nurses. They are the proud parents of three sons. His oldest son, Daniel is a student at Carlow Univerity and working at HVL Laboratories. His younger son, Joseph is currently serving in the United States Air Force.

Paul was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. He received his law degree from the University of Akron School of Law in 2020. During his time in law school, Paul volunteered with Akron Law’s expungement clinic, helping previously convicted community members clear their records for a fresh start. His legal practice focuses primarily on criminal defense representation.
