A graduate of Yale Law School raised in Connecticut, Alex Taubes is a civil rights lawyer. He represents people who are injured, people who are accused of crimes, and people challenging injustice.

I am a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford and Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. I am past president of the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and although the majority of the practice is appeals and trial litigation, as a country lawyer in Old Lyme I have always helped people with real estate closings, wills, trusts, estates and the probate process. including will contests and probate litigation. I have argued successfully at the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court.

Elizabeth is a graduate of Barnard College (B.A. History) and Northeastern University School of Law (J.D.). Prior to relocating to Connecticut, Elizabeth lived in Washington, where she worked for the City of Seattle's Department of Planning and Development enforcing the city's land use, building code, and tenant protection ordinances.
