What are some qualities that make you stand out as an attorney? | Sherrie A. Munson
What are some qualities that make you stand out as an attorney? My strength as an attorney is that I not only am educated as a family law attorney and have a law degree but I also have my Masters in social work. So I can bring back, and I worked as a therapist for many years besides as a director in domestic violence but I bring my education as being a therapist. And while I'm not a therapist as a lawyer I love to be the attorney with you on this journey so I can help you on this process.

What made you pursue a career in law? I made a decision to become a family law attorney because it's my second career. Originally, I worked in the field of domestic violence for ten years. And I worked with people that lived in violence, whether it's physical, emotional, sexual. It was always so painful for them. And I realized one missing link for them is to find legal assistance with an attorney that understood.

Why did you choose to specialize in family law? When I was thinking about going to law school I became well aware from my past education and experience that it's going to be family law because it was not only the person that sought out my help as an attorney, it was a family that I cared about. Because I worked in domestic violence I saw that impact.
