Biography

Patrick has proudly devoted his practice to personal injury law, only representing injury victims. He has worked on hundreds of injury cases throughout negotiation, litigation, mediation, and trial phases, and through them he has recovered millions on behalf of the wrongfully injured and deceased. As a Partner of Hale Law, Patrick strives to bring success and personal attention to his clients he considers part of the Hale Law family for life.

Patrick is a proud member of The Florida Bar, Sarasota County Bar Association, Manatee County Bar Association, Florida Justice Association, Manasota Trial Lawyers Board, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Membership to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum is limited to attorneys who have won million-dollar verdicts or settlements and fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members. He currently serves as the President of the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the Manatee County Bar.

Recently, Patrick was awarded an inaugural 36 Under Thirty-Six Professionalism Award by The Florida Bar YLD. He achieved an AV Preeminent® Rating for 2023 and a Judicial Edition Rating for 2022 and 2024. The AV Preeminent® ranking is the highest peer rating standard by Martindale-Hubbell®, and the judicial edition of the ranking reflects the confidential opinions of both members of the Bar and the Judiciary. He was also selected to the 2021-2024 Florida Rising Stars lists by Super Lawyers, an honor only 2.5% of attorneys in Florida receive. He has been invited to speak at Stetson Law, IMG Academy, and The Florida Holocaust Museum, and he is regularly featured on ABC 7 WWSB’s "Attorney Spotlight" program.

In his spare time, Patrick enjoys golfing, traveling, playing guitar, attending concerts, and volunteering with Teen Court of Sarasota.

Q. I won a suitcase for brain damage in a car accident. My SSI suspended my benefits. . why?
A: SSI (Supplemental Security Income) is a needs-based program, and the Social Security Administration (SSA) considers your income and resources when determining eligibility. Here, the SSA may have seen your settlement as income, and then your total income and resources were possibly determined to be above the SSI resource limit, which lead to the benefits suspension. I hope this helps.
