I am Nick Quincey, the founder of Quincey Law, and I take pride in representing a diverse clientele, committed to defending their rights against insurance company misconduct.
My legal career started as a Deputy District Attorney, with prior roles at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office in the Major Crimes Unit and Victim Impact Program, as well as the United States Attorney’s Office during my law school years. As a prosecutor, I was part of a trial team that managed cases involving attempted murder, robbery, domestic violence, elder abuse, drug trafficking, and white-collar crime. During law school, I also worked on high-profile cold murder cases, including People v. Knight (featured on Dateline) and People v. Durst (the subject of HBO’s The Jinx). These experiences honed my trial and litigation skills, which I now utilize in my insurance bad faith litigation practice.
Personal encounters with family and friends who faced severe medical issues motivated me to focus on insurance bad faith litigation throughout California. My dedication to holding insurance companies accountable has resulted in successful outcomes against billion-dollar insurers such as Anthem, Blue Shield, and New York Life. I also handle select personal injury cases, including those involving catastrophic injuries, mental health issues, and child sexual abuse, striving to secure justice for those who require it most.
