Q. I want to apply for my parents green card i am us citizen. I dont have employment so can i qualify to apply if i dont
A: Yes you absolutely can petition for them and your spouse can act as cosignor. He will need to complete form I864A. Consult with an attorney for guidance.
Q. How do I prove when I left the country in 2000?
A: The FOIA is good but that doesn’t provide the information, you will need to provide a notarized statement explaining the situation. May be worthwhile to have an attorney review and assist with this response. Good luck!
Q. Do I need to fill out Form I-407? If I do, can I reapply for Green Card
A: You may need to apply for a returning resident visa rather than reapplying for residency altogether depending on the length of time you were outside of the US and the basis for the departure. Best to consult with an attorney for guidance.
