Misty J. Cygan
Misty has worked hard to become an attorney, which was her dream. She earned her two undergraduate degrees while being on active duty in the United States Air Force. She graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina Wesleyan College with dual degrees. During her four years in the military, Misty was responsible for producing a weekly flying and aircraft maintenance schedule for a fleet of 24 F-15 fighter jets. Misty also provided support for Operation Noble Eagle in response to the 9/11 attacks.
At the core of Misty’s practice is her love of the law and her desire to help people. Her practice focuses on representing small business owners in business disputes, family law (i.e., divorce, child custody, and child support issues), estate planning and personal injury.
Misty’s passion of the law is exceeded only by her love for animals. She also currently volunteers with PAWS Chicago, the area’s largest no kill humane organization. An animal-lover since she was a child in rural Wisconsin, Misty assists fellow animal-lovers in providing for their pets after they are gone or can no longer care for them. There are several ways to provide for your pet, including wills and trusts for animals.
