Mariana Vazquez Garcia
Vazquez Garcia Law, PLLC
Mariana Vázquez-García is the founder of Vazquez Garcia Law, PLLC. Her passion for helping people with their immigration cases was ignited when she joined the Immigration Law Clinic at the George Washington University Law School in the fall of 1997. While she was still a law student, she won two cases before the Immigration Court in Arlington, Virginia. She knew then that once she graduated law school in 1998, she only wanted to practice immigration law. That enormous desire to help others continues to this date with much success.
Since 1998, now as an Attorney, Mariana has helped thousands of clients with their immigration cases. She has worked tirelessly in cases dealing with different aspects of immigration law, including family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, naturalization and derivative citizenship, non-immigrant visas, and hearings before the Immigration Courts. Her determination to fight for her clients has even required that she take a client’s case to U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York.
She feels honored to help families with their family-based immigration cases. Likewise, she is enthusiastic about working with people from around the world on nonimmigrant-visa cases. She enjoys assisting clients with employment-based immigration petitions. She represents clients not only before the Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals, but also before CIS, AAO, DOS, NVC, U.S. Embassies, ICE, CBP, and BALCA.
Mariana is admitted to practice in New York, as well being admitted to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, and the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and licensed in North Carolina. Since 1999, she has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and was included in Who's Who Registry of Professionals.
