Jephonne Roy
A Lawyer who has been where you are
Jephonne (pronounced like Stephanie, but with a “J”) Roy grew up as a military brat. She is of Hawaiian and African American descent. With great fear and all the anxiety, one could imagine, she began the journey of obtaining her undergraduate degree and preparing to take the LSAT. Once accepted into law school, she learned that she was pregnant with twins! With two children at home already, she knew the task would be daunting; however, God had a calling on her life and she believed that His grace and mercy would see her through to becoming “Attorney Roy”.

Attorney Roy has always been a leader and was not afraid to pursue her dreams of becoming an attorney. Even in her mid-thirties with a family of her own to support, she excelled in school. With laser-focused determination, she managed to receive the highest grade in class, earning her the Cali Award.
Since 2014, Attorney Roy has been litigating family law cases. She has a passion for both family law and litigating in the courtroom where she excels. Keeping clients abreast in their cases, Attorney Roy has learned, eases the anxiety and overall uncertainty that comes with family law cases. She is a firm believer in communication, being the key to all attorney/client relationships. Attorney Roy’s background and first-hand knowledge gives her a unique perspective allowing the empathy necessary to relate to clients.
