James A. Doppke, Jr.
Robinson, Stewart, Montgomery & Doppke, LLC
I am a partner at the Chicago-based law firm of Robinson, Stewart, Montgomery & Doppke, LLC. Since 2013, I have focused my practice on professional responsibility issues, including disciplinary defense and bar admissions, as well as providing consultations on legal ethics issues. Before joining my current firm, I served as Senior Counsel for the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission. In that role, I was responsible for investigating and prosecuting numerous cases of attorney misconduct. Additionally, I have been involved in delivering many MCLE- and PMCLE-accredited programs on legal ethics issues at various conferences, including those hosted by the ABA and ISBA.
Before my tenure at the ARDC, I worked as a staff attorney at a legal aid agency in Will County. I hold a law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and earned my B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
