David Nelson Wood
My undergraduate school was at the Orono Campus at the University of Maine. I graduated Cum Laude in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in History.
I graduated from law school at University of New Hampshire School of Law in Concord, New Hampshire in the top quarter of my class. I received my Juris Doctor degree in 1988.
After graduation I sat for and passed the bar examination in October 1988, in the State of Maine and then started my career at the York County District Attorney’s Office in December of 1989, in Biddeford, Maine.
I screened and prosecuted cases for seven police departments including the Maine State Police and the Maine Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. There is no better trial experience than the District Attorney’s Office… period.
I practiced as an associate in a prestigious law firm from 1991-1992 perfecting my criminal and family law practice and experience.
From 1992 through the present, I have been in practice for myself with a caring and highly skilled staff. Our experience and dedication is unsurpassed.
