Darryl Cohen
My background is both interesting and varied. I began my legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami Dade County, FL. Later, I returned to Atlanta, Fulton County, GA, where I served as an Assistant District Attorney. After leaving the District Attorney's office, I transitioned into private practice. I focus my practice on three primary areas of the law: Criminal Defense, Entertainment, and Hospitality.
I have had the privilege of representing numerous high-profile celebrities in both Criminal Defense and the Entertainment world, though typically not the same individuals. My career has been further enriched by my involvement with organizations related to the Entertainment industry, including SAG and NATAS. I have served as a former Chair of both the FL EASL and GA Entertainment & Sports Law sections in the respective Bar associations. Additionally, I am the Chair and founder of the North American Law Summit, an Entertainment, Sports, and IP legal conference that convenes annually in an offshore "at the beach" location.
I am also a frequent on-air commentator, appearing on News Nation, CNN, Court TV, MSNBC, The Nancy Grace Show, and various local network affiliates. Moreover, I regularly speak at various Entertainment and Law School forums across the country.
