Chris Harris
Harris & Schroeder, PLLCChris Harris was born in El Paso, Texas, but moved to the central Texas area as a young child and has lived here since. While being homeschooled, Chris was able to pursue specific interests in law classes. Upon graduation from high school, he attended Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. During his time at Howard Payne he won numerous awards individually and as a partnership in Moot Court competitions held at various Texas law schools. Chris graduated with a degree in political science with a pre-law focus. Having visited Baylor School of Law during Moot Court competitions, Chris chose to complete his legal education there. At Baylor, Chris was a member of the Baylor Law Review. Chris also worked with an attorney to provide responses to all Mclennan County’s inmates requests for legal information. In 2005, Chris, along with his wife Sarah, formed Harris & Schroeder, P.L.L.C. as a general practice firm to assist people in Williamson, Travis and surrounding counties with their legal needs. From the beginning, Chris has helped clients with a range of legal issues including divorce, custody, child support, criminal charges and estate planning to name a few. Chris has handled every type of family law case and has conducted hundreds of contested hearings. Chris helps clients with issues including premarital agreements, divorce, custody disputes, establishing child support and visitation, common law marriages and uncontested divorces through the AAA
