Bruce Steinfeld
Steinfeld & Steinfeld, P.C.Bruce Steinfeld is a shareholder in the Atlanta, Georgia, firm of Steinfeld & Steinfeld, P.C., specializing in family law. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) and a Member of the Georgia Chapter of the AAML. He is a Master in the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law Inn of Court, Past-Chair of the Family Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association, and former Editor of its newsletter, The Family Lawyer. He received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY, and his J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, GA. He has authored several articles on family law-related topics and he and his wife, Shayna, are co-authors of a book entitled The Family Lawyer’s Guide to Bankruptcy, published by the ABA’s Family Law Section in 2002 (currently in its 4th Edition). In addition to serving as a registered mediator, Bruce also serves as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem (GAL) in custody cases and was awarded the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer Foundation’s Guardian ad Litem of the Year Award in 2003. He is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars on family law-related topics.
