Amy F. Spector is a managing partner with Hicks & Spector, L.L.C. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois . Ms. Spector holds a B.S. in Business Administration from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she majored in Marketing and minored in Psychology. Ms. Spector received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale, Illinois, where she was an active member of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, as well as the student division of the American Bar Association.
After law school, Ms. Spector went on to receive a Master's of Business Administration Degree from Southern Illinois University Graduate School in Carbondale, Illinois. During these graduate studies, Ms. Spector worked as a Graduate Assistant with the Southern Illinois University Center for Innovation and became certified as a Small Business Consultant. In 2010, Ms. Spector was honored to receive the Asthagiri Chandra Sekaran Award, naming her as the Most Outstanding Woman M.B.A. Graduating Student for the 2010 graduating class.
As a practicing attorney, Ms. Spector has represented clients in the St. Louis and Metro East areas in a variety of civil litigation settings, with a heavy focus on family law. After gaining more than four (4) years of experience, Ms. Spector partnered with her colleague, Kelly Garrett-Hicks, to establish Hicks & Spector, L.L.C., where she has continued served the legal community since 2013.
Ms. Spector is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the St. Clair County Bar Association and the Madison County Bar Association.
