I have 20 years experience defending people accused of crimes including major felonies in Circuit Court Jury and Bench Trials, sentencings, modifications, violations of probation, competency hearings, bond reviews and requests for Drug and Alcohol Abuse Evaluations. I have been the defense attorney for at least 100 jury trials. I will zealously advocate for my clients and pursue their goals at trial, in pleas and in mitigation. I have successfully negotiated with difficult prosecutors.
I graduated from The College of Williams & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas with a Juris Doctor Degree.
I have served as Secretary to the Washington County Criminal Defense Bar Association (liaison to the Bench and Detention Center), Board Member of the Washington County Bar Association, and served as the Pro Bono representative of the Office of the Public Defender for Washington County.
