Freya has been practicing exclusively immigration law since 2012. She focuses on family and employment immigration. She has significant experience with the immigration needs of families, including LGBT+ families, students, researchers, colleges, universities, aliens of extraordinary ability, and small to mid-size companies.

I have been practicing primarily Family Law for over 30 years. I feel that, like a choosing a doctor, the choice of an attorney to help you to nagivate through the sometimes rough waters of a divorce, placement or custody matter is crucial, so that the waves are more gentle. In so many cases, just a little common sense and a voice of reason can calm the tides before they escalate, which leads to a more efficient resolution.

Attorney Mary Parmeter is an associate attorney and member of the Business Practice Group at Axley. Ms. Parmeter focuses her practice on general corporate law, corporate finance and securities, business organization and formation, mergers and acquisitions, development, and real estate transactions.

Prior to joining Axley, Mary earned her MBA in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking from the Wisconsin School of Business, and gained banking and investment experience by working at Goldman Sachs and the State of Wisconsin Investment Board.

Chris J. Mares, J.D. is an attorney and counselor at law with his law office in the Fox River Valley, Wisconsin area since 1984. He received his Bachelor of Science, Business Administration degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
