I have been practicing since 1975. My areas of concentration are: family law; residential real estate; wills, estate planning, and probate; elder law; and appellate work.

I grew up in Northwestern Wisconsin, went to school at Carleton College and UW Madison, and now I practice law in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Growing up, I did a little bit of everything. I played sports, performed music, worked a few third-shifts, and taught English in China. Now, I practice in several fields of civil law and enjoy the variety.

JANE E. PROBST presently specializes in the areas of family law, divorce, paternity, grandparent rights, custody, child support, juvenile law, termination of parental rights, adoptions and guardianships in the States of Wisconsin and Illinois. Another specialty area is Equine Law, exclusively dealing with businesses, contracts and litigation related to horses. She not only has extensive experience as a trial lawyer, but is also a member of the Collaborative Divorce Council of Wisconsin with an objective of resolving divorces without the cost and acrimony of the standard litigation process.
