I am a University of Wisconsin Law School graduate who specializes in immigration law. Over the past few years, I have worked with employers, families, students, exchange visitors, physicians, investors, and others on their immigration issues. I work on both family-based immigration and employment-based immigration. I love what I do, and am honored to work and serve as an immigration attorney.

I have been practicing law since 2003, focusing on the area of criminal defense. I am admitted to practice in Wisconsin, and Federal District Court- Western District of Wisconsin, Federal District Court- Northern District of Illinois.

Private practice attorney serving Monona and Madison since 1977. Primary areas of law are estate planning including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, elder law, including guardianship, medical assistance planning, probate and trust admininstration, real estate, tax and business.

Freya has been practicing exclusively immigration law since 2012. She focuses on family and employment immigration. She has significant experience with the immigration needs of families, including LGBT+ families, students, researchers, colleges, universities, aliens of extraordinary ability, and small to mid-size companies.

Attorney Mary Parmeter is an associate attorney and member of the Business Practice Group at Axley. Ms. Parmeter focuses her practice on general corporate law, corporate finance and securities, business organization and formation, mergers and acquisitions, development, and real estate transactions.

Prior to joining Axley, Mary earned her MBA in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking from the Wisconsin School of Business, and gained banking and investment experience by working at Goldman Sachs and the State of Wisconsin Investment Board.
