I have over a decade’s experience representing families in custody and divorce cases, and in suits against corporations, insurance companies, banks and landlords. The vast majority of lawyers have never tried a case before judge and a jury. I have tried and co-counseled more than a dozen jury trials, resulting in hundreds-of-millions in settlement and verdicts for my clients.

After graduating from law school in 2007, I clerked for Judge Steven Gonzalez in King County Superior Court. I then worked for several years as a public defender in Seattle and King County handling juvenile cases, adult misdemeanors, contempt of court proceedings, and dependency cases. In 2010, I moved to Bellingham, Washington to take a position with the law firm of Fox, Bowman, Duarte.
